I believe I’ve mentioned that I’m a sucker for books, particularly reference books… so a sewing reference book? well, that has “I’m going to love it!” written all over it. I’m happy to introduce you to the  Essential Sewing Reference Tool: All-in-One Visual Guide (affiliate link), written by Carla Crim (you may know her better as the Scientific Seamstress).

I am a sewist, mom, wife, designer, blogger, and fabric enthusiast. I learned to sew alongside my mom, but lost interest in the craft until my early twenties, and I've spent the last fifteen years making up for lost time! I've experimented with modern quilting, accessories and garment sewing, hand-printed fabric, and textile design, I have found my love in pattern design, and sell my original sewing and embroidery patterns in the imagine gnats shop.

Thanks for this lovely giveaway! :) I think the flaw in the first sewing books I bought when starting out was that there really weren’t enough pictures for me to interpret all the instructions, but this sounds amazing!
